September 2024 Update – Uganda

Special Christian greetings, dear Lamplight family:

We are Pastor Tonny and Carolyn Ssekyanzi, serving God in Kampala, Uganda, East Africa. We love you in the name of our Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ. We are learning so many principles while teaching and reading the books authored by Jack and Judy Hartman.

Lamplight Church in Uganda is currently running Lamplight Global University, to enhance Christian education. Keep praying for Lamplight Global University! We are currently teaching from the book, OVERCOMING FEAR. We have completed Trust God for Your Finances and Effective Prayer. We have 32 men and 43 women students. Class is held in our church building. We need funds to translate each book

into Luganda for those who do not use English fluently. Students follow instructions well and love the quality of the messages taught.

Sharing and discussions are fantastic in class! Classes are usually 50 percent lecture and 50 percent interaction between students and professors. A meal is served after class.

Transportation is difficult for most students.

Needed: a bus or van to transport students.

Needed: a projector to project the pages on a screen.
