Dear Lamplight Family,
My name is Pr. Tonny and Carolyn Ssekyanzi. We are here in Africa and in Uganda Kampala. Allow me to convey my sincere thanks and greetings to you Dr. Judy Vail, and all other directors and individuals committed to serving our Father Lord Jesus Christ.
I am happy to remind you the promise that our Father Lord Jesus Christ made to all of us: Mark 10: 29-30, Matthew 19: 29 and Luke 18: 29-30.
And our God is faithful to fulfill all promises. (2 Corinthians 1:20 and Hebrews 10:23).
Allow me again to share with you our comments as Lamplight Global University, Lamplight Senior Secondary School and Lamplight Church in Uganda by answering the questions put forward by Lamplight Ministry Inc. President Dr. Judy Hartman Vail.
1. As Lamplight Ministry in Uganda and (LGU) we have so far completed reading and teaching 5 books. Namely:
- Trust God for your Finances
- Effective Prayer
- God’s Joy Regardless of Circumstances
- Overcoming Fear
- God’s Wisdom is Available for You
2. We are now teaching and reading two books. These books are called:
- Victory Over Adversity
- Reverent Awe of God
3. We have 63 students who have completely completed the mentioned books above.
4. For the last year we have had 83 students. 20 graduated and left for ministry and other individual or personal work activities.
5. If we had funds, we would possess 250 students. Based on the fact of the availability of dormitories and transportation means of which we do not have at all.
6. We need a photo copying machine and printer together with a good number of computers.
7. There are quite a number of items we need as Lamplight community in Uganda.
For example, ministry vehicle for transportation, furniture for all classes, houses for teachers, dormitories for boys and girls. At the moment, I can not tell how much money we need to put all these in place unless you as ask me to do so, but of course I already sent the budget of dormitories, teachers housings, and vehicles together with an extension portion for land that we badly need.
8. There is additional land behind the church that for a long time wanted to purchase, but no funds yet. This land portion would help us for construction of more classes and church extensions. This need could seriously cost us $20,000.
9. Yes, we need buildings, dormitories, and teacher housing. You already have our budget.
10. We already have the church building and school classes for academics and Lamplight Global University classes.
11. Yes, students need transportation to and from, especially those who stay in the district of our location and those who stay in far districts, need to be residential hence the need for dormitories.
12. Of course yes, no one can learn in a particular school without feeding. The budget for feeding will be sent to you in a minutes time.
13 . Previously I sent you my other alternative business that would support the rest of other ventures here. This was realty. I sent you all projection for this and it’s enhancement and the budget, as well. Thank you.
